iOS Developer

Location: Split, Croatia

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and build advanced applications for the iOS platform
• Lead iOS development working closely with other mobile app developers ensuring a consistent approach for all platforms and maintaining parity in features
• Standardize the apps delivering the same quality and UI/UX whilst minimizing duplication of effort
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design and ship new features
• Unit-test code for robustness, usability, and general reliability
• Identify and correct bottlenecks, fix bugs and improve application performance
• Help maintain code quality, development processes, and automated testing
• Continuously discover, evaluate and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

Qualifications required:

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related subject
• 3-4 years of working experience in mobile app development, demonstrating successful delivery of mobile apps integrated with cloud-based services
• Experience with Swift language and iOS frameworks
• Experience with RESTful APIs to connect apps to back-end services
• Knowledge of cloud message APIs and push notifications
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
• Solid understanding of the mobile development life cycle and UI/UX standards
• Experience in publishing iOS apps
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and ability to work in both international and multifunctional teams

Experience in any of the following areas is a distinct advantage:

• Experience developing Medical Device(s) or safety-critical systems, and associated processes
• Experience in Cross-platform technologies (Flutter)
• Experience in real-time communication
• Familiarity with continuous integration
• Agile methodologies
