In addition to innovative standard products for the vehicle electronics industry, you also receive customized software and hardware solutions entirely according to your specific requirements. The development of customized products covers the complete process, from prototype to high-volume production.
Starting with an overall system, the interfaces and interactions with other systems are defined, as well as safety objectives in the case of developments relevant to functional safety.
Based on the defined requirements, a concept (requirements / specification) is developed, the content of which is agreed with you. In this phase, supporting methods such as D-FMEA, FMEDA (only FuSi from ASIL B), hazard & risk analysis (from ASIL A) and tools such as APIS and Polarion are used.
After completion of the concept phase, the development of the circuit diagram, the layout of the board, the design of the mechanical components and the programming in the software begins. If the module is successfully put into operation, the delivery of the respective sample stand incl. sample accompanying folder to the customer takes place if agreed, to validate the documented and verified sample stands.
After the customer's approval for the achieved sample stand and the agreed DVP (Design Verification Plan), the cost-benefit of the various test scopes are determined in close coordination. Depending on the test type, external laboratories and authorities are consulted. If necessary, further commercial issues such as packaging & shipping are agreed upon. After passing the ECE-R10 test, the "design freeze" takes place.
Following the "Design Freeze" the handover of the development to production takes place. The qualification of the transition takes place after agreement by a pre-production series, its evaluation and the first samples. A so-called "SOP Freeze" takes place. Furthermore, depending on the agreed effort, a requalification takes place frequently.
When goals are reached, a "Lessons Learned" meeting takes place, which allows us to incorporate important findings into ongoing developments as early as possible, but also to establish long-term, cooperative partnerships with our valued customers and development partners.
